If you've been wanting to put together cards by inputting information through spreadsheets and/or CSV (Comma Separated Variable) files, and have a program magically create cards based on your spreadsheet data, look no further! Github member vaemendis has created a superb java program that takes.csv files and converts them into printable card contact sheets through the power of html and css. Use the final results online or physically through print! PURCHASE 1) Manifestation CCS (Card Creation Source) - FACEBOOK: CATEGORY: DESIGNCARD TEMPLATES / GRAPHICSICONS / DESIGN SERVICESDESIGNILLUSTRATIONICONSBOARD GAMES / TUTORIALS Promo Video This is very promising for Photoshop users.

They provide card frame templates that have flexible, convertible layouts. There are links to purchase high-quality, Fantasy (Past Age) themed, and Sci-Fi (Future Age) themed card game border templates on their website. All of the template sets come with vector icons, special layer styles, and instruction manuals that give users a very wide range of options for card customization. They also have a growing set of Icons available for purchase; and are providing Design Services ranging from Card Template Design to Icon Design, Illustrations, and everything else you could possibly need to develop graphics for Board Games.

This is a one-stop shop! 2) Game Cards Design Kit - CATEGORY: DESIGNTEMPLATES Here's another Photoshop card frame template that looks really good. Medieval style themes and apparently a good number of predefined layouts. This one's only going for $6, and it comes packed with a wide assortment of backgrounds, border element styles and more.

They've also included an instruction manual. 3) TCG - Fantasy Trading Card Game Kit in Medieval - CATEGORY: DESIGNTEMPLATES This one costs $6 as well. It looks like this one comes with 4 different pre-defined card templates (even though the promo piece says 3). A really nice medieval style theme, fine details and various color options. The promo piece also says it comes with 'Lifetime Updates.'

I guess the creator will be updating the package for its entire life-span. Might be a good deal. 4) The Game Crafter - CATEGORY: PRINTING/MARKETPLACE Added by: eponym - From what I understand about The Game Crafter, they provide ' ad hoc printing of cards in a variety of sizes,' as stated by eponym. It also seems they provide an online location to promote and sell board games you've finalized using their services. Although I don't know how long they've been around, it looks like this may be a company that is really likely to expand in their capabilities with the way they are headed.

If you need printing and promotion check them out! 5) The Noun Project- CATEGORY: GRAPHICSICONS Added by: xequalsspeed - This looks to be a really good resource for icons! It has a large pool of designers providing their well-crafted icons for commercial use (purchase) or limited use under a Creative Commons 'Attribution' license. The icons they provide are rather 'minimalist' in design so those of you looking for more detailed icon styles may need to continue your search!

Either way, give this site a look. Their search engine is really cool. 6) Collectable Card Game Template Pack - CATEGORY: DESIGNTEMPLATES If you've got more than one card game idea in mind and need high-quality predefined card designs these card game templates seem to be the right ones to go for.

These Photoshop templates include 72 ppi and 300 ppi versions; but the creator states 'this product is not designed for printing, so if you insist printing it you might have trouble doing so, for which I am not to be blamed.' Seems to be a good resource for those seeking digital solutions to card game design! - These are the resources we've come across so far.

Please do share any online resources you may know of that will aid in the creation of card games! I know there are probably many more things floating in cyberspace related to making/generating artwork, promoting your games, and other things of that nature. Here's a template for cards that can be printed with standard printer paper and assembled without glue or tape. The cards should also be thick enough to be shuffleable without needing sleeves.

Assembly instructions: 1: Cut out the cards along the black lines. (There will be 4 cards per template) 2: Fold the tabs in along the grey lines. 3: Fold the card in half along the center grey line.

4: Link the tabs together (Start with the top and bottom of the card. This part takes some practice. Make sure the tabs are inside the card and not sticking out.) 5: Close the two open corners (You should see a tab and a pocket in each corner that you can link together.) 6: Once you've assembled all of the cards place them between some heavy books to further flatten them. Would strongly suggest printing out the blank template first and practicing with that before you start adding your own graphics to it.

For

Should help with getting used to assembling the cards. Also sorry for the quick and dirty assembly instructions. Let me know if you need any clarification on that. Oh, and if anyone DOES use this template for their own game, you can also feel free to copy/paste the assembly instructions as well.

(Assuming they're clear enough as is.).

This script will allow you to install Pokemon Trading Card Game Online. This is the online version of the popular card game, and works in much the same way. While the game is technically free to play, you will require cards to play which can be earned through redeeming codes found in physical card boxes/booster packs, or through various in-game methods such as completing minigames. The game appears to work nearly flawlessly, with only two real bugs: 1. The QR code scanner won't work.

This is a problem with wine being unable to access the webcam hardware and would likely require a patch to remedy. This doesn't impact anything except making it so you have to manually enter product codes for redemption rather than quickly scanning them.

The client freezes when switching to full-screen mode. This problem also appeared during testing in a Windows VM, which shows to me that this is more a problem with the virtualized graphics. I haven't been able to resolve this one, but windowed mode plays fine.
